Leeward Construction is the low bidder on a project that will resurrect State Route 191 north of Honesdale back to its original makeup. After years of using a temporary bridge, construction is under way to remove and replace the previous structure with a 1-span prestressed concrete box beam bridge. The work area will be revitalized with 550 linear feet of new guiderail, impact attenuating devices, landscaping, roadway shoulders, and over 1,800 ton of pavement.
