Administrative Assistant-Estimating Department

Description

Leeward Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Estimating Department. The ideal candidate will assist with bid opportunity research, vendor contract management, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Bid Opportunity Research: Identify and track bid opportunities from various sources to support business development.
  • Vendor Contract Management: Maintain and monitor vendor contracts, ensuring compliance and timely execution of deliverables.
  • Financial Tracking: Create and maintain spreadsheets for vendor payable items and other financial records.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks as assigned, including document management and reporting.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret bid documents and contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with PennDOT’s ECMS system.
  • Background in construction or related industry.
