Leeward Construction is hiring Tri-Axle Drivers!

We have an immense amount of work on schedule for this season. Our drivers operate safely and efficiently on public highways and in off‑road situations to deliver quality asphalt and aggregate materials.

Job Description:

Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
Deliver aggregates and blacktop materials to customers, pavers, shoulder machines and stone boxes and construction sites.
Responsible for unsynchronized transmission.
Communicate with dispatchers using 2-way radios and verbal communication with customers and internal personnel.
Ability to read a map to navigate around the Northeastern PA area.
Must be able to complete log books, vehicle inspection and site condition reports.
Responsible for cleaning bed of trucks from debris and keep rest of truck clean.
Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Must possess a valid CDL, a clean MVR, and must pass a DOT physical.
Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Knowledge of DOT and CDL regulations.
Applicants must be self-motivated, energetic and have good oral and written skills.
