Leeward Construction is hiring a Utility Project Manager who will assist the Utility Superintendent in the coordination and management of utility projects.
Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Superintendent the Project Manager will communicate with management staff to create and maintain a daily and long-term strategic action plan as well as cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the candidate analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
Monitors scheduled and financial progress of project.
Performs material submissions and collaborates with the design group to pursue timely approval of these submissions allowing timely procurement process of these approved materials and monitoring of materials received to support work scheduling.
Performs RFI submissions and collaborates with the design group to achieve timely resolution to these issues, communicating to the management staff.
Prepares and distributes daily work plans and production tracking reports.
Under the direction of the Superintendent, they will create periodic progress and cost reports.
Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), Bluebeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat, Pro-Core, Dato, HCSS, ECMS.
Education and Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline requested, related experience will be considered in substitution of degree.
At least two years of experience in a related engineering field, or two years of project management responsibilities/duties in a related engineering or construction field.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
May be asked to be walk on uneven terrain in various weather conditions for prolonged periods.
