Leeward Construction delivered a critical piece of infrastructure with the construction of a 1.7-million-gallon Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Tank. Built in a highly congested work zone, the project required 2,700 CYs of specialty concrete, extensive reinforced steel, and post-tensioned cable systems to ensure long-term durability and performance.
In addition to the complex concrete and structural work, crews performed mass excavation supported by soil nails and temporary earth support systems (TESS), all while maintaining safety and precision in a tight urban footprint.
