Niagara Bottling Water

Leeward Construction played a key role in developing the Niagara Bottling facility in Hazle Township, PA, transforming Humboldt Lot #9 into the future site of a 1.2 million square foot pre-cast building. The $24.3 million project included 1.18 million cubic yards of excavation and controlled fill, along with 825,000 cubic yards of rock blasting—executed on an accelerated schedule with on-site crushing to streamline operations.

Additional scope included DDC work, both general and deep mine, construction of a signalized intersection through PennDOT’s HOP process, and installation of 7,500 linear feet of off-site 20” water line for the Hazleton City Authority. The sheer scale, speed, and technical demands of this project showcase Leeward’s ability to handle complex site development from the ground up.
